My story
My name is David, back in 2020 I suffered a traumatic brain injury. This required me to learn many things again in life. I had to learn to sit upright with out falling back down, how to walk, how to use my left arm and I struggled massively with my mental health.

My name is David, back in 2020 I suffered a traumatic brain injury. This required me to learn many things again in life. I had to learn to sit upright with out falling back down, how to walk, how to use my left arm and I struggled massively with my mental health.
I found during my recovery journey there wasn't a person who had been through what I was going through that me or my family could speak to. This would have helped massively as we could have had a clearer understanding of the journey ahead.
Therefore this has encouraged me to set up this community so that we can all assist each other and be there for each other.
I have also taken up volunteering at the local brain rehabilitation ward to help talk to patients and also to do fun times with them to hopefully make their days a little brighter in the tough periods they are currently going through.
